HIGH SCHOOL NEWS

Financial Aid and FAFSA Information
Williams Valley will be hosting our free Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, October 29 at 6:00 pm at the Jr-Sr High School. Immediately following the information session, we will also hold a Completion Session at 7:00 pm where seniors and their parents will be able to fill out the FAFSA. A financial aid representative will give an overview on the types of aid, eligibility, and a review of the financial aid process. During the Completion Session, senior students and parents will be guided through the FAFSA step by step. If you plan to stay for the Completion Session, please be sure create an FSA ID a few days prior and to bring the needed documents with you that evening. Detailed information can be found by clicking on More below. If you would like further information, please contact Mrs. Cecco in the Guidance Office.

Letter from the Prinicpal

Dear Williams Valley Parents and Community,

As principal of Williams Valley High School, it is with great pleasure that I welcome everyone back to school for the 2019-2020 school year. We look forward to seeing Williams Valley students in our hallways and classrooms on the first day of school. A goal for this school year is that we build equity and capacity among all community members.

First day of school for students is August 26th, 2019. Students please be sure to view the student handbook, review the bell schedule, and your bus pick up time. We look forward to seeing you back! Remember to get a good nights sleep on school nights.

We hope that you will find our new Skyward student information management system helpful and informative. Many pieces of communication that formerly were sent via paper mail, will now be sent via this system. It will relay information to you in a quick, efficient manner. Please be on the lookout for more technology upgrades and communication coming to the WVSD community!

I am honored to serve as the principal of Williams Valley High School, as a former Viking alumni. It is a privilege to be part of the close-knit community that raised me. I encourage all community members to support one another-parents, teachers, students, and other Viking community members, whenever possible. We are a team and every member of the team is vital to the success of our students! Please feel free to contact me by calling the high school office at 717-647-2167 or sending me an email at cduey@wvschools.net.

Sincerely,

Christine M. Duey
High School Principal
